How can I help?

What a thoughtful question. Or is it? Well, it depends on who you ask. And, it surely depends on where you're coming from.

From a business perspective, maybe you'll generate some suspicion. Why are you asking? Who's paying you? Are you a consultant? What's in it for you?

From a spiritual or lovingkindness perspective, maybe you'll be welcomed. I feel good to be recognized. You hear me. Thank you, I don't know yet but, yes. Somehow.

Sometimes, the person you ask may not be up to helping you figure out how to help. They may wish you asked a more specific question.

Whatever the reason, if it is in your nature to offer help, offer it. Wherever possible, be kind. According to the Dalai Lama, it is always possible.
