Fill your glass

What sort of person are you: glass half-empty or half-full? We all know that question and, very likely, are ready with an answer. Oh, I'm definitely a half-full person. Oh, not me, I'm just the opposite -- half-empty for sure.

It's an interesting question because, after all, the glass is the glass and the contents are the contents. You would think that reality doesn't really care what you think. You might think the world you live in just goes on regardless of your beliefs and attitude, but is that really so?

The answer's up to you of course. It's your life. But I believe attitude, as the saying goes, makes all the difference in the world. So, whether you like the

quantum physics approach, working with cognitive behavioral therapy or daily affirmations with Stuart Smalley, it's still up to you.

So, try something new this week. Turn your view upside down and don't be surprised to discover that it really is up to you to create the world you live in. If you want things to be different, start from the inside and work your way out. Don't let yourself believe that you have to wait for someone or something to change. If you change, then things change. If things change, the world changes. And you are the master.

As Neil Gaiman wrote, "You get what anybody gets - you get a lifetime." It's yours. Have some fun with your life this week. Fill up your glass. Cheers!!
